For pet owners
How it works
Your pet rides with someone who was already making the drive. Not a courier, not a van doing nothing but deliveries. A person with a home on wheels, their own pet in the passenger seat, and room for one more.
Here is the whole thing, start to finish.
Find a driver already going your way
The map on our home page shows real trips that real drivers have posted. Every line is a journey somebody is taking whether or not they carry your pet.
Put your pickup town and your drop-off town into the box above the map. We will show you only the drivers who can actually help, which means their crate is big enough for your dog and they still have room in their schedule.
Get your price up front
The moment you enter the two towns you see the price. No quote form, no waiting, no phone call.
The price depends on the distance and on how far the driver has to go out of their way. A driver passing straight through costs less than one making a detour for you, so the map shows a price for each driver rather than one price for everybody.
Send your request
Pick your driver, tell us about your pet, choose your pickup window and attach a photo. It takes a couple of minutes.
Your pickup window is at least five days long. That flexibility is what makes this cheaper: your driver fits you into a trip they were taking anyway, rather than leaving on a date that suits only you. A wider window makes you easier to match, so offer more days if you can.
Your driver accepts
The driver sees your request and decides. They can see your pet, your dates and your route, but never your email address or your phone number.
If they pass, they have to tell us why, and we pass that on to you. Nothing is lost: your details and your photo stay exactly where they are, and you pick another driver without filling anything in twice.
Pay and lock it in
Once your driver accepts, you pay in full. Card or debit, never cash.
That is the point where the trip becomes real. Your driver is told, the dates are held for you, and nobody else can book those days with that driver.
Pickup day
You meet your driver, hand over your pet, and hand over the health certificate. Your driver is required to ask for it. If you turn up without one they cannot take your animal, and that is not them being difficult, it is the rule that keeps every pet in that vehicle safe.
Send whatever makes your pet feel at home. Their own bed, a familiar toy, the food they already eat. Do not send anything you would hate to lose.
On the road
Your pet travels in the cabin, in a climate controlled vehicle, in a crate sized for them. Never in a trailer, never in a cargo hold.
You can message your driver from your dashboard the whole way. Ten messages a day each, which is plenty for a photo and a check in, and stops anyone being pestered hourly. Messages stay on the site so there is always a record.
Drop-off
Your driver brings your pet to the drop-off town you gave us and hands them over to you or to whoever you nominated.
A few weeks later we clear out the details of the trip, including your photo and the messages. Your dashboard link stops working at that point, which is on purpose.
What we need from you
- A health certificate from a vet, dated within 30 days of delivery. Within 10 days if you are dropping off in California.
- An honest measurement of your dog, lying down, from their backside to the tips of their front paws.
- A pickup window of at least five days.
- A phone number we can actually reach you on.
- Anything we should know. Medication, anxiety, a dislike of men in hats. Tell your driver.
What we will never ask of you
- Cash. Everything runs through us.
- Payment direct to a driver. If anybody asks you for that, call us on 479.517.0218.
- Your pet in a trailer, a cargo area, or any space that is not climate controlled.
- Your pet sharing the vehicle with another client’s animal. Our drivers carry one at a time.
